Help families around the holidays and provide them with gifts and food for Christmas
Our mission is to connect people from different backgrounds within our community. Through the holiday spirit, we create an opportunity for people willing to give and for people who need help to close the socioeconomic gaps in our area.
Our goal is to find families that are in need of financial help around the holidays and provide them with gifts and food for Christmas. Most of them are immigrants and serve our community as house cleaners, handymen, etc. The first year we did this, we were shocked when we heard one of the kids say “I love to read and want to be a teacher, but I’ll probably end up cleaning houses like my mom.” It was shocking to see this mindset and level of poverty in our community.
